Both Modifilan & UF-n are concentrated extracts of the same brown seaweed Laminaria Japonica. However, they are processed slightly differently to emphasis different properties. They are optimally taken together to both detoxify and strengthen your immunity.

MODIFILAN: STRONGER DETOXIFICATION
Alginates are the substances responsible for binding and eliminating heavy metals and other toxins. Modifilan is 50% by weight alginates. U-Fn has alginates removed. Therefore, Modifilan is more detoxifying than U-Fn. Modifilan is concentrated 40:1. That is it takes 40 pounds of seaweed to yield 1 pound of Modifilan

UF-n: STRONGER IMMUNE ENHANCEMENT
Polysaccharides are the substances responsible for enhancing and regulating the immune system. U-Fn is 35% Fucoidan polysaccharides. Therefore, U-Fn has much stronger effects on the immune system than Modifilan which is 5% Fucoidan polysaccharides. UF-n is concentrated 120:1 (120 pounds of seaweed to make 1 pound of U-Fn and alginates removed) therefore contains higher concentrations of naturally occuring amino acids, trace minerals, essential fatty acids and other nutrients necessary for life and health.
